About this book
Jesus told His first-century disciples, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” (Matthew 24:36) And He also told them, “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by His own authority.” (Acts 1:7) However, this book maintains that the statements Christ then made applied only to the time He made them. For He also then told His followers, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.” (John 16:12) If Christ had told His first-century disciples that He would not return to earth for about 2,000 years, He would have then greatly discouraged them. But this book contends that things are very different now. For it provides us with many new and compelling reasons to believe that most Christians who are now alive will live to see our Lord’s return. So by Jesus Christ now providing His 21st-century followers with the date of His second coming to earth, He is not discouraging us. Rather, He is now providing us with a tremendous form of encouragement that we may all soon need to get through some very difficult times ahead.
This book makes some pretty incredible claims. Regardless of whether you agree or not, this is something every Christian should look into. Has God really spoken through signs and wonders, and are we really at the end of the age? These are questions this book explores and I think you will be amazed at the answers it reveals.
