Spears has shared several videos of herself dancing to Eilish's hits over the past year. Just last week, the pop star posted a clip of herself performing a routine to "bury a friend." She also shared footage of herself freestyling to "i love you" in June and posted a video of herself dancing to "bad guy" in 2019.
"I hope she sees it," Eilish told Extra that year. "I mean, I, like, didn't do it for her to see it. I just did it because I love her and I'm, like, always trying to rep her. Oh, God, Britney is such an icon. I love her so much. Oh my God."

In Billie Eilish's autobiography, Billie stated that the track was inspired by the night of a photoshoot a few days prior. In the song, Billie describes having a depressed friend who tells her he loves her. Billie admits to feeling the same, and on their date in Central Park, the friend gets sad, but pretends to be happy just to make Billie happy. Throughout this, Billie states that she does not want to love the friend but loves him nonetheless, and that there is nothing he could do to change that.
My submission is a piece of choreography by Galen Hooks, LA-based dancer and choreographer, to "i love you" by recording artist Billie Eilish. In loss and through the grieving process, there is sometimes a need to just feel, and not think, as you brought up in the beginning of class Wednesday. Where can one go to only feel and not think? Or rather, what can one do to only feel and not think? As a dancer myself, I can say that movement, through dance, is an outlet for that. This choreography is about the loss of a relationship with a beloved person, and it exemplifies the very notion of feeling without thinking. The dancers in the video portray all of the heightened emotions that come with loss through their facial expressions and their physical movement. I thought it was really beautiful how, in conjunction with this song, these artists were able to just feel with their whole body-one can see in the video that there really is no energy left to think. The ability to just feel in loss is so important, especially when going through the first stages.

I love you is about someone in a relationship telling their significant other that they love them, and the other feeling scared about her feelings towards him. She loves as well but can't muster up the courage to tell them because she prefers to keep her emotions concealed. That's what I think the song is about.
The lyrics just make me think of my own mistakesI was living my life peacefully, so my neighbour who I didn't like for his quiet and selfish attitude, started becoming too close to me, followed me everywhere, literally does everything for me. He wants to say something but he hangs up. Everything he does just had one meaning `` he was inlove with me but couldn't say it''.. I tried my best to avoid having feelings for him because I still believed he had those bad character. But I did, Today its a different turn around. I just can't explain, he just changed back to how I knew him to be.. I became the one who looks obsessed about someone... He's just too greedy, selfish and lacks ability to plan his future... But I love him, I said it but he pretended like he didn't hear a thing.... I don't know people, it's complicated
I know it's not the actual meaning, but what I love about her songs is that it can be interpreted many ways. She has said it is about someone dying, but personally, the song to me is a song that reflects my current situation. A girl is currently in a relationship with one guy and has another guy best friend. "It's not true, tell me I've been lied to" is when the best friend admits to the girl that he has feelings for her. "What the hell did I do, never been the type to let someone see right through" being best friends they tend to open up a lot to each other. Then the chorus describes the moment when the best friend says "I love you", maybe it was a slip up or a joke, that probably shouldn't have been said due to the situation. "Up all night", they've been talking all night. "I didn't mean to make you cry" is the girl feeling guilty that he feels so upset because he didn't find the courage to ask her out in time. - so this is what happened to me and every lyric in the song just relates to it so well that I thought I'd share my other interpretation, even if it isn't the real meaning. 781b155fdc
